Maca Root Bliss Balls

These bliss balls are also known as “fat bombs” because they pack in healthy fats with every bite and provide sustaining energy! By using ingredients such as antioxidant-rich goji berries and hormone-balancing maca root powder, this recipe is sure to leave you feeling totally blissed out. Powerful herbs like cinnamon and cardamom support the removal of toxins, while coconut butter brings lasting energy with a high level of plant-based fat without cholesterol. Nuts and seeds are added in to the mix, providing omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, protein, fiber, and lasting energy. These work great for your morning workout, midday snack, or maybe a guilt-free dessert! 

·      ⅓ c goji berries

·      ⅓ c organic chopped almonds

·      ⅓ c raw shredded coconut

·      2 tbsp toasted pepitas

·      2 tbsp chia seeds

·      ½ tsp cinnamon

·      ½ tsp cardamom

·      2 tsp maca powder

·      ½ c coconut butter

 

First, stir all ingredients except coconut butter together in a large mixing bowl until well combined. Next, slowly add melted coconut butter to the mixture, and stir so that all ingredients are well coated. Using wet hands, form the mixture into tablespoon-size balls and allow to cool in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
